Athlete of the Week
Week ending 1/20/18 Athlete of the Week Adan Fajardo. Adan was selected for Athlete of the Week honors for his defensive skills. He also scored the first goal vs. the Rebels last week and set the tone for the night. The lions went on to beat South 2-1 for an historic victory. Congrats to Adan and Coach Warren!
Week ending 1/8/18 Athlete of the Week. Aymar Casaras has help get the Lions off to a fast start this season. He has provide solid play and is always present for practice, study hall, and team functions, He was recently named to the Hwy 58 Shootout All Tournament Team for his contributions. Congrats! Aymar.
Athlete of the Week ending 12/8/17 Precious Took first place in here weight class at the Coyote Classic this past weekend. She also led our team to a 3rd place overall finish. Congrats! to Precious and the rest of the Lady Lion Wrestlers.
Week ending 10/28/17 Athletes of the Week Our Lion Tennis sisters have been instrumental all season. They have provided our tennis team with attitude and a winning spirit. They were part of tennis history winning our first playoff matches in Mira Monte Sports History. Great job ladies!
Yuliana has been recognized as Mira Monte Lion Athlete of the week for the week ending 10/6. She helped her team to victories over North and League favorite Highland. The Lions are now on top of the league with a 3 - 0 record. Please congratulate Yuliana and her teammates when you have a chance. Great job to the entire volleyball coaching staff as well.
