Kayla Vaughn, a Freshman in Mrs. Rowlands 9th Grade GATE English, is being recognized for her extraordinary writing talent displayed in her essay, "I Have a Dream: A Rhetorical Analysis". FFA Sectional Competition
This week we had a freshmen, Best Informed Greenhand Team and a senior, Agricultural Cooperatives Team compete for our sectional competition held at Arvin High School. We wanted to share the results with you. Our Co-Ops Team placed 3rd high team and Johana Lima placed 3rd overall individually. They represented themselves and our school very well on Wednesday.

Strong Showing for Ag Mechanics: State Finals on the Horizon
Teacher and Ag Mechanics team coach, Josh McKenzie says, "I want to thank Legrand High School for hosting a very fun yet challenging contest to open the season up. These boys have been working hard, and it showed today. Time to get ready for Merced College next weekend."
